The SquarePlug™ SP500BK is an ultra-low-profile right-angle 1/4" TS connector designed for high-density pedalboards, patch bays, and switching systems where space is limited. Measuring only 8.3mm of plug depth, the SP500 is one of the smallest soldered 1/4" connectors available, approximately 20% smaller than the Switchcraft 228.

Its compact design allows cables to be patched into closely spaced jacks and switching systems where traditional right-angle connectors cannot fit. Despite its small footprint, the SP500 maintains the performance and reliability of a soldered connector, making it ideal for custom cable builds and professional pedalboard wiring.

The connector features an all-metal serviceable housing designed to snugly fit smaller diameter cables for improved strain relief and EMI protection. Two solder tabs allow for quick and reliable cable termination, while an insulation sheet prevents hot and ground contacts from shorting during installation.
