Remo DynamO Bass Drumhead Hole Template - 5.5 inch - Black or White

The Remo DynamO™ Bass Drumhead Port Reinforcement Ring provides a clean, durable solution for adding microphone ports to resonant bass drumheads. Designed for live and studio drum setups, the DynamO allows drummers and technicians to cut a precise 5 and 1/2 inch microphone port while reinforcing the drumhead to help prevent tearing.

Constructed from a laminated Mylar reinforcement ring with high-strength adhesive backing, the DynamO strengthens the drumhead around the cut port, maintaining durability even when microphones are frequently inserted or removed. The template design also helps guide a clean circular cut when creating the port.

The DynamO is commonly used to create bass drum microphone access ports while preserving the integrity and tone of the resonant drumhead.

Two versions are available:

• DM-0005-01 – White reinforcement ring
• DM-0005-71 – Black reinforcement ring

Both models create a 5.5 inch bass drum microphone port and are compatible with most resonant bass drumheads.
