Playing multiple instruments during a set isn’t easy, especially when you’re having to change sticks for different instruments. To make things a little easier for you, Meinl has created the Switch Stick. Combining a traditional 5A drum stick with a hard felt mallet, these sticks have Meinl’s Hybrid Wood tip on one side and a hard felt mallet head on the other. This lets you use a wooden tip on a snare drum one second, then turn around and use the mallets to create massive cymbal swells the next. The felt tip is safe for use on hand drums and animal-hide heads. These sticks are made from American Hickory — a favorite at Sweetwater for strength and durability.
